This notice explains what we do with your details when you ask for a guide from Watts Up Mike.
Who we are
Watts Up Mike is a trading name of Mirnova Ltd. Mirnova Ltd is the controller of your personal data, which means we decide how it's used and we're responsible for it.

What we collect
When you fill in the form: your first name, your email address, your postcode, whether you own your home (or that you'd rather not say), whether you ticked the box for email tips, the time you signed up, and the page or campaign that sent you to us.
What we use it for, and why we're allowed to

We don't make automated decisions about you, and we don't call or text you.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your details, and we don't pass them to installers, energy suppliers or anyone else to market to you.
We use two service providers. They act on our instructions and can't use your details for their own purposes:
- Resend passes your form to our inbox. Resend is based in the United States.
- Google Workspace holds our email, where your sign-up is kept.
Where a provider handles data outside the UK, the transfer is protected by the UK-US data bridge where the provider is certified under it, or otherwise by the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum in the provider's terms.
We'd only share your details otherwise if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- If you only asked for the guide: 12 months after you signed up, then we delete it.
- If you signed up for tips: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep just your email address on a "do not contact" list, so we don't email you by mistake.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the details we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, delete your details, stop using them or object to how we use them, or give them to you in a format you can take elsewhere. Email info@mirnova.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
Cookies
This site doesn't set any cookies. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll ask you first.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first at info@mirnova.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
